Decentralised Energy Will Strengthen, Not Compete With National Grid – REA

The Rural Electrification Agency is shifting its policy to build an investor-friendly electricity market by linking forty-eight mini-grids to mainstream electricity distribution companies. The initiative is expected to inject approximately 288 megawatts of clean electricity generation and battery storage into the national grid.
