Dangote to launch own shipping fleet to boost maritime operation

Dangote Industries plans to acquire vessels for an in-house shipping fleet to move products from Nigeria to West and Central African markets. The initiative is intended to address limited shipping capacity and rising road transport costs that have constrained the group’s regional expansion.
