Customs urges Senate to review import waivers, amend 2023 Act

The Nigeria Customs Service has asked the National Assembly to review the country’s import waiver and concession regime and amend the 2023 Act. Customs questioned whether existing incentives remain justified by their fiscal cost and aligned with the economic objectives for which they were introduced.
