CPPE urges NMDPRA to restrict fuel imports to verified supply shortfalls

The Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprise has asked NMDPRA to approve petroleum-product imports only when verified domestic supply shortfalls exist. It warned that unrestricted imports could weaken investment in local refining, making the issue relevant to Nigeria’s oil and gas sector and its regulatory environment.
