CBN Withdraws Operating Licences of 46 Microfinance Banks

The Central Bank of Nigeria has revoked the operating licenses of 46 microfinance banks due to insolvency, regulatory violations, and failure to meet operating conditions. The decision was approved by CBN Governor Olayemi Cardoso.
