CBN mops up N4.72tn as OMO demand surges

Investors submitted N8.62tn in bids for CBN Open Market Operations securities over two days, while yields reached 19.90 per cent. The central bank raised N4.72tn through four auctions conducted on 26 and 27 August, exceeding the combined amount initially advertised.
