Breaking: Tony Elumelu retires as UBA Chairman, bank names Emmanuel Nnorom as successor

United Bank for Africa Plc has announced that its Group Chairman, Tony Elumelu, will retire from the board on August 21, 2026, upon completing his twelve-year tenure limit. Emmanuel Nnorom, a non-executive director, has been appointed as his successor.
