Banks’ deposits rise 670% to N83.95trn

Banks’ deposits in the CBN’s Standing Deposit Facility rose 670.2% year-on-year to N83.95 trillion in July 2026 from N10.9 trillion a year earlier, while borrowing through the Standing Lending Facility declined by 82%, according to the report.
