Air fares highest in Kano as tickets’ prices rise by 20.8%

A report by the National Bureau of Statistics reveals that the average air fare for single route journeys in Nigeria rose by 20.86 percent year-on-year to N157,552.19 in May 2026, with Kano recording the highest fares.
