Agents fault FG’s Green Tax on imported vehicles, demand suspension

The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents has petitioned the Federal Government to suspend the implementation of the Green Tax Policy on imported vehicles. The group raised concerns over insufficient stakeholder engagement by the Nigeria Customs Service prior to the scheduled July 2026 commencement.
