Adeniyi Advocates Periodic Review of Import Exemptions, Concessions, Waivers

The Comptroller-General of Customs has called for periodic reviews of import exemptions, concessions and waivers, while urging lawmakers to preserve ongoing reforms. The Senate committee recognised the service’s reported N7.3 trillion revenue in 2025 and highlighted automation and trade modernisation under the current administration.
