70% of Nigeria’s food farmers, processors are women — UN

The United Nations says women make up about 70 per cent of Nigeria’s food crop producers, processors and commercial operators. It also identifies limited access to land, finance, technology, markets and productive resources as continuing constraints on their participation in the agriculture value chain.
